Hello lovely readers!
Today I have a small haul from H&M.
Seems I have been having a quite exiting love affair with them lately...
aka spend way to much money there on clothes..
So here are the 2 things I got:
* A lace gilet. I saw one on boohoo.com ages ago and wanted it sooooo bad! But then I saw this one.. And since H&M is just easier to get, I got this one!
* Flowey White Lace dress. I have a wedding in London in September.. Heard that you can't wear white when you are going to a wedding though... So might now wear it..
What do you think? Is it a big no to wear white to a wedding?
Would love some advise, since it's like my 3rd wedding in 21 years of life.
I know crazy!
Anways... stop rambling!(note to self)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
All my love,
Elle
Lovely buys. H&M is one of my favorite stores, I shop there all the time haha ^^

Wearing white is a bit of a no-no as it is seen as taking attention away from the bride. I have been to weddings where a guest turned up in a floor length white gown and it did look really inappropriate in the photos. I think you might be able to wear that dress if you accessorise it so it's definately doesn't look like a wedding dress (you could add some other colours in there). This obviously won't work in the bride is wearing a little lace dress too! I would check with the bride if I were you as some people do still get very offended.
ReplyDelete@Christine: It's one of my faves as well! Love H&M
ReplyDelete@Penny: Thanks a lot for the tip! Checking with the bride would be a good idea... and wearing a white floor length dress is really a big no no!!
